Preparing a sector map your committee will actually use
A working method for packaging rotation evidence so the next allocation meeting spends time on judgement, not deciphering charts.
Committees do not need every oscillator you can draw. They need a map of leadership, a note on breadth, and a short list of open questions.
Name the universe first
UK mid-caps, European large caps, and a global equity sleeve will not share the same rotation story. Write the universe at the top of the note so nobody argues past each other.
Separate evidence from preference
Show which sectors absorbed capital and which yielded it. Then, separately, state the judgement you are recommending — hold, tilt, or wait. Mixing the two makes disagreement personal instead of analytical.
Leave a watchpoint
Every useful briefing ends with what would change the reading: a breadth repair, a leadership handoff, a breakdown in a crowded defensive group. Watchpoints keep the next meeting from starting at zero.
